Teknik ini dapat mempercepat laju sepeda karena rendah nya gaya gesek (drag) pada pesepeda yang membelakangi grup pesepeda. Aliran angin pada pesepeda yang melakukan drafting akan terhalang oleh pesepeda didepan nya. Teknik ini mengambil keuntungan dari fenomena aerodinamika.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/arismadata.com\/solidworks\/products-simulation-flow.php\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Computational Fluid Dynamics<\/a> merupakan sebuah teknik perhitungan dalam Finite Element, salah satu fungsi nya adalah untuk mengetahui nilai drag pada sebuah benda yang terkena aliran fluida. Dengan SOLIDWORKS Flow Simulation kita dapat melakukan perhitungan nilai drag pada teknik Drafting.<br \/>\nBukalah <a href=\"http:\/\/arismadata.com\/solidworks\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">SOLIDOWORKS<\/a> Flow Simulation dan mulailah dengan Wizard. Lalu ikutilah langkah-langkah pada Wizard. Semua pengaturan dibuat Default, kecuali pada External Flow Analysis. Fluid didefinisikan sebagai udara dan Velocity sebesar 30 miles\/hour. Sementara itu parameter akan berlanjut seperti simulasi perpindahan sepeda atau putaran ban sepeda. Dimana aliran angin berkurang sangat signifikan searah dengan gaya gesek nya.
